Overview
Our UX/UI team is on a mission to create, inspire, and influence user-centered design at Esri and beyond. We’re looking for you to bring your creative management knowledge to build on our operational foundations achieved so far. By strategically focusing on people, process, and culture, you will help us move towards a productive, healthy, and brighter future. You will design and implement systems that support our UX/UI leadership, so they can plan for what’s coming next, think strategically, demonstrate the value of design, and our team of designers can… well you know, design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in design, user experience, interaction design, or a related field such as business, applied social science, media, and digital marketing
- 2-5 years working as a creative professional in design, managing commercial photography, video production, or digitally optimized content creation, or a related field
- 2-4 additional years of experience specializing in building and growing the capacity, productivity, and culture of modern design teams.
- In-depth knowledge of design and project management tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe, Monday, Asana, Workfront, Jira)
- Working knowledge of project management, operations, change management, and organizational behavior
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION
Please include a link to your online portfolio or PDF samples of recent work, specifically showcasing successfully implemented DesignOps. Samples must communicate your approach to evidence-driven problem-solving on real-world projects and demonstrate your skills in developing teams and people and process improvement through a mix of deliverables.
