The ArcGIS Runtime DevOps team is eager to add a software development engineer to our team that has a passion for driving efficiencies in development & production environments using the latest cross-platform techniques, technologies, and frameworks.


Who are we:


The ArcGIS Runtime DevOps team develops the infrastructure and automation processes that support development, building & testing the ArcGIS Runtime Native APIs across a multitude of operating systems and industry standard platforms. Each API is unique, and we strive to find the tools and practices that can be implemented and normalized across our fabric of supported platforms. We enjoy being able to work alongside a large development team, providing best practice solutions that resolve impediments and improve efficiency. We place an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth through overlapping responsibilities, and friendly communication.


  • Develop automation for build and test workflows
  • Develop innovative solutions for data capture, visualization, and alerting
  • Collaborate to implement continuous integration best practices on a modern codebase


  • Curiosity for exploring a wide assortment of platforms and technologies
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable scripting cross-platform workflows
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to clearly document work for others
  • Passion for supporting others
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related experience

  • Technologies: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, OpenShift, Ansible, Artifactory
  • Languages: Python, Bash, Groovy
  • Concepts: Configuration as code, Continuous integration and testing, elastic infrastructure, build pipelines, package management
  • Cross operating system knowledge: Ubuntu, MacOS, Windows
  • Platform knowledge: C++, Java, .Net, Qt, Swift, Kotlin, Unity, Unreal Engine
  • Version control: Git
