Overview


Join the marketing technology team and help manage a growing number of digital assets including images, icons, documents, PDFs, web pages, and rich media files. You will tag, organize, curate, manage, maintain, control, and secure assets in the digital asset management (DAM) system and play a key role in ensuring assets can be found to aid marketing and sales processes by maintaining the asset tags, metadata, and folder organization. You will also assist in developing strategy for adopting DAM standards, best practices, and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of digital asset library management to effectively collaborate with all areas of the creative team and marketing technology.

Responsibilities


  • Properly organize newly-created assets within the DAM, acting as a gatekeeper between content creation and content publishing to ensure high standards of metadata and organization are met and enforced with every asset
  • Worki with content teams to implement the best asset organization and taxonomy for browsing and searching for assets
  • Promote smart tags on existing assets to teach AI tools how to apply those tags more effectively on future assets
  • Ensure legal metadata is present on assets for DRM purposes
  • Work with product owners to implement tools to streamline content creation, tagging, and publishing
  • Create and curate collections of assets with subject matter experts
  • Aid in automated archiving strategies and archival review

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience as digital asset librarian role or similar librarian role
  • Cataloging, metadata schema, and taxonomy management experience
  • Understanding of digital right management concepts
  • Knowledge of web asset types and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to collaborate extensively with creative designers
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in library and information science or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Demonstratable expertise with Adobe Experience Manager assets
