Overview


Join the Creative Lab’s Graphic Illustration team and help manage our icon libraries and logo files. Your responsibilities include tagging, organizing, curating, optimizing, and maintaining files across various platforms, such as Github, Figma, AEM, Lucidchart, and PowerPoint. You will also assist in developing strategies for adopting file delivery standards, best practices, and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of digital asset library management to effectively collaborate with all areas of the Creative Lab, Software Development, and Marketing divisions.

Responsibilities


  • Properly organize newly created assets within the Graphic Illustration team server, acting as a gatekeeper between content creation and content delivery standards
  • Maintain the taxonomy of asset libraries and apply key word tags to assist searching
  • Optimize SVG and PNG assets and convert files to XAML when required, following established processes
  • Create, troubleshoot, and leverage automated processes for streamlining file processing
  • Maintain familiarity with specific uses and limitations of each asset library
  • Spearhead archiving strategies and conduct archival reviews

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in a digital asset librarian role with a Bachelor’s degree in library and information sciences or related field; or 1+ year of experience and a Master’s degree
  • Proficiency in cataloging, metadata schema, and taxonomy management
  • Understanding of digital right management concepts
  • Knowledge of web and desktop asset types and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate extensively with creative designers

Recommended Qualifications


  • Demonstrated expertise with Adobe design software, particularly Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with Actions and Macros to automate processes, including Keyboard Maestro
  • Experience working with file optimization

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

  

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $66,560.00 - $83,720.00.
