Overview


Our ambitious digital experience team is built around collaborative, strategic, and analytical thinkers. Join us to contribute to the success of Esri’s digital properties by providing ongoing program strategy for the digital experience of our in-person and online events.

You will be a key part of applying Esri digital event strategies for each event and communicating and executing plans to produce the digital event experiences. Your excellent interpersonal skills, comfort interacting at all levels of the organization, and roll-up-your-sleeves approach will be imperative to your success.

Responsibilities


  • Design and implement Esri’s digital experiences for events, conferences, and webinars
  • Collaborate with events marketing team members to plan, execute, and report on digital event experiences
  • Work in partnership with colleagues throughout Marketing and all of Esri including event managers, UX/UI and web strategy professionals, business stakeholders, project managers, and content writers
  • Stay up to date with the latest event trends and technologies to continually improve and innovate our event experiences
  • Review and participate in defining event digital requirements, scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders
  • Document, review, and communicate event performance

Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience in event management
  • Proficient with basic software programs to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience developing and producing digital event experiences and with digital event and event management platforms such as Rainfocus, CVENT, Hubilo, ON24
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including communication (both written and verbal), reasoning, problem solving, and influencing
  • Ability to work and communicate both at the tactical day-to-day level and at the strategic planning level with executives, colleagues, and technical teams
  • Ability to make quick decisions before, during, and after events based on unexpected circumstances
  • A clear passion for creativity and experimentation for crafting engaging and valuable event experiences
  • Availability to provide support on a Pacific Standard Time zone schedule
  • Ability to travel 5-10% with occasional work nights, weekends, and odd hours to ensure the execution of a successful event
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, business, or related field
