Overview


We are seeking an individual with outstanding organization and communication skills to provide support for our Events Agenda team, which supports 30 Esri conferences annually and several thousand sessions. You will support and lead many aspects of the agenda development that also includes call for papers, speaker management and quality control.

Responsibilities


  • Support development and management of agenda framework and key content component
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental team of content stakeholders
  • Execute on development and management of key timelines and deliverables
  • Support management of Call for Papers for external presenter's submissions
  • Support management of internal conference speakers
  • Support management of Speaker Portal through Event Management Software
  • Onsite session management including speaker and attendee experience

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience working with tradeshows, seminars, events, or a related field with a Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Workfront
  • Knowledge and previous use of events-specific software, such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus
  • Ability to work in a team setting, independently, and on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work well with others, be collaborative, and develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to make quick decisions before, during, and post-event based on unexpected circumstances
  • Strong team-building, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $64,480.00 - $80,080.00.
