Join our Global Business Development division as a global sales enablement manager! In this position, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing the knowledge management strategy across the division including programs and initiatives that scale across the division. You will work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Global Business Development and across the company, such as Human Resources, Industry Solutions, and Professional Services. The scope of these programs will include initial onboarding, leadership development, continued education for both sales and technical sales employees, and integrating this with product and technical knowledge. To be successful, you will have a passion for implementing sales enablement programs globally for Esri.


  • Own end-to-end program development of key strategic enablement initiatives scale across our global sales organizations
  • Direct GBD onboarding programs, partnering with both internal stakeholders and external consultants who will aid us in developing a short- and long-term plan to support our career development objectives
  • Develop and launch multi-layer continued education learning programs in key areas in partnership with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders
  • Lead a team through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback that helps support the sales enablement process, both domestically and abroad; cultivate a virtual team of enablement specialists and cross-divisional resources to support your team’s objectives and generate results
  • Support the selection process of outside vendors for specific components of the programs and strategy
  • Lead change management efforts upon program rollout including communication plan development, alignment with leadership, gathering insights and feedback, and developing adoption metrics
  • Facilitate learning solutions according to adult learning theory and provide an engaging, interactive environment whether virtual or in-person
  • Develop measures of success/KPIs across your programs and initiatives


  • 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales, learning and development
  • 10+ years of experience working with global teams in a corporate, fast-paced environment
  • Proven knowledge and abilities in the principles and practices of organizational development
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools; experience with Prosci ADKAR model a plus
  • Ability to manage ambiguity by operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear; be adaptable in approach in to meet changing business needs
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities at once; high attention to detail
  • High-level of enthusiasm and passionate about learning and development
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization
  • Strong communication skills: attentively listen to others, provide timely and helpful information, and be effective in a range of professional settings
  • Familiarity with instructional design
  • Open to remote with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time
