Overview


Utilize your GIS education and industry experience to test and influence ArcGIS Enterprise for the next generation of Esri software. This is an exciting opportunity to help maintain a test environment where software testing of real user workflows and datasets will help deliver requirements to our software development teams to help build new software and plan for future releases.

Responsibilities


  • Support and maintain the general framework of the Esri Disconnected Lab including configuration of ArcGIS Enterprise on multiple operating systems (Windows & Linux) and with various user authentication models (IWA, SAML, PKI, LDAP)
  • Perform and coordinate testing, analysis, investigation, and identification of software problems
  • Support internal and external customers in understanding and testing their organizational workflows and industry-specific goals
  • Build and grow relationships with software development teams to identify, prioritize, and ensure key issues are fixed for a release
  • Participate in the release of high quality software; certify the overall quality of the system and ensure each release is ready to ship
  • Influence product design, functionality, and usability across the entire ArcGIS platform as well as focused areas
  • Attend relevant conferences and visit user sites to understand and apply user workflows into our testing environment

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience implementing, administrating, and applying ArcGIS Enterprise in various advanced customer environments
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, applications, and functionality, including caching, geoprocessing, and geocoding
  • Knowledge of cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Aptitude to gain understanding of systems administration and troubleshooting of multiple operating systems
  • Ability to work with a team or individually in a constantly challenging and evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer information systems, computer science, engineering, or another technical field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications


  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Collector, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Business Analyst, and mobile application usage related to GIS
  • Enthusiasm and drive to learn and understand all aspects of the Esri suite of products
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and work on multiple concurrent projects
