Esri has an opportunity for an energetic individual with outstanding organizational skills, strong work ethic, and positive attitude to provide support for the Employee Relations (ER) team and other HR staff. 

Responsibilities


  • Provide administrative support for general HR operations and employee relations processes
  • Maintain calendars for the ER manager and team 
  • Handle confidential information and situations with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism
  • Coordinate and handle the separation process for all employees
  • Assist HR business partners, management, visitors, vendors, and employees with ER-related inquiries
  • Work cross functionally with other Esri teams to handle immediate ER requests 
  • Create and maintain HR databases, reports, and external/internal correspondence
  • Provide backup support to the corporate receptionist
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment and exercise good judgment with excellent follow-through

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, superior attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to work proactively and provide administrative support for building systemic processes and methodologies
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of database design, spreadsheets, and business formatting
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Recommended Qualifications


  • Associate’s or bachelor’s in human resources, business, or related field; HR certification
  • 1+ years of experience in human resources
  • Basic knowledge of California state and federal laws and human resources policies and practices
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably SAP and iCIMS
