You will help grow our award-winning internship program, conference assistantship programs, and a variety of other exciting university activities.

 

In this position, you will advance our campus recruitment initiatives, coordinate and manage strategic pillars of our internship program, support and enhance DEI initiatives, amplify our employer brand on campuses, and uphold other early career programs. Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, have some expertise in building and managing programs, and have the knowledge and drive to develop future programs for Esri. Responsibilities


  • Design, manage, and actively execute campus recruiting strategy and early career activities with targeted schools and programs
  • Continuously evaluate targeted schools and programs based on our evolving business and talent needs
  • Foster relationships with key target universities and their career centers/department heads
  • Represent Esri at university-related events including conferences, job fairs, information sessions, workshops, and on-campus interviews
  • Perform full lifecycle early career recruitment for internship and student assistantship programs
  • Manage and continuously improve internship program to include conducting orientation, program event management, monitoring intern job contributions, coaching interns, and advising managers on training and coaching
  • Provide career counseling, planning, and advising to program participants
  • Develop and maintain metrics that track the success of our hiring and retention of intern and early career talent
  • Evaluate success of recruiting season by preparing and analyzing statistics on overall results to identify areas for process and performance improvement
  • Research new and innovative ways to communicate and attract early career talent
  • Engage students through traditional and non-traditional methods on campus and virtually through social media
  • Partner with recruitment marketing team to ensure outreach materials highlight our remarkable culture and values including website, collateral, and presentations
  • Act as an early career SME to talent acquisition leadership team and consult on innovative strategies, events, and outreach to recruit top talent from key academic partners and early career channels for various business units within Esri

Requirements


  • 3+ years of progressive experience in recruiting/talent acquisition
  • Strong ability to manage competing demands and accept constructive feedback while being adaptable and flexible
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate between event organizers, career centers, students, and staff across Esri
  • Outstanding customer service, project management, attention to detail, and consistent follow through
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% during peak recruiting months
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams)
  • Ability to organize and express ideas clearly, multi-task, and work independently
  • Bachelor’s in business, marketing, human resources, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably iCIMS
  • Experience with Handshake recruiting platform
  • Experience in a technology company
  • Background in recruiting, sales, and/or marketing
