Join our dynamic team and work with analysts, developers, and business users to solve key system-related problems and improve existing processes.

Responsibilities


Over the summer, interns worked with senior staff to:

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
  • Evaluate gathered information, identify and reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and distinguish wants from true needs
  • Create and revise analysis artifacts and deliverables as needed such as gap analysis, business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, busineses rules, business practice models, test cases, and user stories
  • Collaborate on quality assurance, integration, and acceptance testing

Program Timeline

  • Applications Accepted: September 1 – December 31, 2023 at 5:00 pm PST
  • Interviews: Students selected for phone interviews will be notified by email on a rolling basis October 2023 – January 31, 2024
  • Internship: 12 weeks beginning in late May or June

Requirements


  • We seek students who are majoring in computer science or a related field and are currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program at a university in the United States; undergrads must be in junior or senior standing
  • Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2024
  • Able to complete a 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2024
  • Process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement discovery methods
  • Understand technical jargon and possess the ability to communicate it in informal language

The pay range for this internship takes into account education level and previous relevant work experience to include specialized skill sets. Interns who meet minimum qualifications during their internship may also qualify for 401(k) and profit share.

 

A reasonable estimate of the base pay is $26.00 - $30.00.
