In this role you will take your mobile dev skills and apply them to build applications that support indoor mapping, positioning, navigation, workspace reservation, data collection, and more. Responsibilities

  • Develop native mobile application (iOS and/or Android) features for indoor mapping, positioning, navigation, location sharing, workspace reservation, data collection, and more
  • Build cutting edge, intuitive, responsive user experiences that run on mobile phone and tablet form factors
  • Work in an agile software development process and participate in user story design, estimation, and execution
  • Solve complex problems with design, development, and user experience
  • Design relational, spatial, and NoSQL information models
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Work with the team to define, implement, and ship new features
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company that build components and APIs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience supporting commercial software development
  • Demonstrated experience in Android and/or iOS software development
  • Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and/or Swift
  • Experience consuming REST services and strong knowledge of JSON
  • Experience with SQL database queries
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication and work well in a team setting
  • Ability to understand new technology concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Working knowledge of data structures and algorithm analysis fundamentals
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience developing an application on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or an open-source project
  • Experience architecting and designing software products
  • Experience with daily Git workflows (branches, review, merge)
  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS software or similar geospatial technology
  • Experience with RDBMS's (Oracle, SQL Server, and more), spatial databases, NoSQL databases, and embedded databases (SQLite)
  • Experience with Augmented Reality and related mobile SDKs
  • Experience with 2D and 3D graphics programming
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI
  • Strong knowledge of MVC/MVVM software architectural patterns
  • Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $93,600.00 - $156,000.00.
