As a landscape professional, you enjoy nurturing and developing plants and living environments. Responsibilities


  • Manage and direct team to maintain multiple properties and manage landscape design for Esri and related companies
  • Work closely with executives and facilities manager on assigned projects
  • Prioritize, assign, and schedule job tasks, adjusting schedules as necessary in response to weather conditions or staff absences
  • Supervise landscape employees and contractors and review their work to ensure it is performed safely, on time, and according to established procedures, regulations, and guidelines
  • Understand project vision and collaborate with necessary stakeholders to ensure delivery of landscape design goals
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships throughout the organization
  • Proactively assist in identifying and resolving issues

Requirements


  • 4-6 years of experience in landscape design
  • Hands-on experience managing the maintenance, health, and remediation of an urban arboretum
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain pleasant demeanor with clients and in challenging situations
  • Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills, strong organizational principles, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership and design skills

Recommended Qualifications


  • 1-2 years of experience managing employees or contractors
  • 1-2 years of experience managing budgets
  • Bachelor’s in agricultural business, landscape design, environmental design, or a related field
