Lead a team of project managers and personally manage our high-profile brand campaigns. Esri is a growing software company with fascinating applications in over 60 industries across business, government, education, and non-profits. You will work with executive stakeholders, subject matter experts, marketing channel owners, creatives, engineers, analysts, and others to ensure our campaigns and initiatives deliver high quality, meaningful experiences that represent our brand values and engage our multiple audiences.

Our desired candidate combines extensive project management and leadership experience with strong business acumen, brand building and marketing knowledge, and a commitment to resolving impediments and getting things done.


  • Form strong working relationships within the marketing teams and across the organization to launch projects on scope and schedule
  • Lead project management team in building campaigns and initiatives that deliver high quality experiences that engage our multiple audiences
  • Use business acumen and knowledge of marketing processes and best practices to ensure high quality output and fast execution across multiple marketing channels
  • Use communication skills to engage stakeholders, vendors, and internal staff to ensure expectations are understood and deadlines are met
  • Manage project plans, project scope, and resource allocation, kickoff meetings, requirement gathering meetings, regular status meetings, etc.
  • Guide project teams on mitigating risks and propose backup plans for areas of high risk
  • Maintain a project backlog, including prioritization and timeframe estimation, and communicate these matters to the appropriate individuals and stakeholders
  • Proactively find opportunities for process improvements throughout all phases of initiatives
  • Research, contextualize and implement evolving marketing best practices


  • 7+ years of work experience in marketing project management with 2+ years managing high visibility brand projects
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, helping teams reach their full potential
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate efficiently, and set priorities and expectations
  • Superior attention to detail and results oriented; demonstrated track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative working teams within a decentralized marketing organization
  • Strong working knowledge of web-based project and task management tools such as Workfront
  • Bachelor’s in a relevant field (MBA preferred)

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience in Agile methodology tools for tracking user stories, sprints, velocity, and burndown
  • Ability to work productively with a wide range of creative and strategic teams
  • Ability to champion process implementation and inspire operational excellence
  • PMP Certification
