The marketing automation specialist is responsible for design, quality assurance (QA), execution, maintenance, and reporting for automated marketing programs and email distribution. In this role you will be tactically focused on the execution and constant optimization of emails, automation rules, and other marketing automation tasks. In addition, you will serve as an internal consultant to marketing teams, guiding email strategy.


  • Manage email marketing program development and execution, including drip campaigns, dynamic content variables, and creation and maintenance of templates for use by others within the marketing function
  • Create nurturing and scoring programs to support the marketing organization and continually evaluates these for improvements
  • Plan and perform A/B testing and execute enhancements to email campaigns to improve conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
  • Document marketing automation processes, programs, and procedures
  • Provide consultative support for the Marketing Division to improve email channel performance and shares best practices
  • Train marketing resources on how to measure email effectiveness, run reports, and accomplish basic tasks within the MAP


  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Marketing automation experience that includes design and quality assurance of lead scoring and multi-tiered programs
  • Intermediate CRM and marketing automation administration (preferably Salesforce and Pardot)
  • Strong understanding of email campaign execution, Q&A testing, and conversion measurement
  • Intermediate HTML skills
  • Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions
  • Strong problem solving and project management capabilities that include the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal peers and agency partners, fostering cooperation in non-hierarchical relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree
