Partner Operations Coordinator

Overview

Esri’s partners and alliances team is aligned to the overall growth strategy of the company by expanding the Esri Partner Network (EPN). In this position you will support this growth by providing daily coordination of efforts related to key partner initiatives and programs shared with partners through the online Esri partner community. This work helps partners get access to the latest Esri technology; consider new selling opportunities; and interact with Esri, its distributors, and other partners. The ability to effectively collaborate among a variety of Esri teams is key to success in this position. It also requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and the ability to work in a dynamic and virtual team environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert for partners and partnering staff around program benefits, enablement offerings, and opportunities for partners presented in the Esri partner community
• Interface with partners, distributors, and partnering staff to successfully deliver program opportunities for selling, program benefit updates, and partner recognition
• Work on cross functional teams to develop and implement new and updated programs for partners including proposals, policies, and workflow documentation
• Develop partner and partnering staff resources needed to ensure understanding of program opportunities and how to participate in them
• Coordinate with community management and communications teams for the rollout of program changes
• Respond to partner and staff inquiries via emails, calls, and events as part of rotating team responsibilities
• Participate in projects and initiatives to ensure partner team alignment with goals and objectives associated with Esri’s partner strategy

Requirements

• 2+ years of partner, channel, or sales operations experience
• An appreciation for technology and willingness to learn high-level technical concepts
• Ability to develop productive, strong relationships with internal teams and partners to meet targeted objectives
• An analytical mindset with the ability to create reports, interpret results, and make recommendations on approach and courses of action
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, time management, presentation, and writing skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, agile, and team-oriented
• Bachelor’s in business, geography, GIS, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Salesforce, and/or other business management/reporting systems
• General understanding of Esri products and services or other GIS technology
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and presenting work plans, work flows, business metrics, and reports
