Overview


Collaborate with Corporate Management and other teams to ensure that Esri locations and events have adequate security and employee safety programs to protect both employees and company assets. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support and operations of the physical security program as well as develop policies, procedures, and standards and manage their implementation throughout the company.

Responsibilities


  • Oversee and coordinate all activities of agency security officers including scheduling, contract management, training and assessment of duties, and incident management
  • Respond to and follow up on security incidents including theft, accidents, suspicious activity, and alarm response
  • Develop and maintain effective security and safety programs including emergency evacuations, medical incidents, and first aid training
  • Support and manage security and safety for conferences and special events including vendor management and coordination, EMT and security staff scheduling, and oversight as needed
  • Design and oversee implementation of building and office access control including keycard systems, alarms, and security cameras
  • Maintain visitor management program for all Esri locations
  • Respond to urgent physical security matters as needed

Requirements


  • 5+ years of security and/or safety program management experience
  • Experience managing employees with various skills and security disciplines
  • Proven experience in the development, scalability, and efficiency of coordinated security and safety programs
  • Expertise in physical security design, implementation, risk assessments, and mitigation
  • Familiarity with conducting investigations of safety- and security-related incidents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstate strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels
  • Bachelor’s in a related discipline such as business, security operations, information security, or other relevant disciplines, or equivalent work experience
