Overview


The print coordinator oversees critical production paths, partnering with internal departments such as Creative Lab, Purchasing, and Events; as well as external vendors. This position ensures that specs and product requirements are adhered to, and that appropriate documentation has been received and stored. This position is involved with every aspect of the print process from planning, design, production, and fabrication. This position ensures that each job is both high quality and cost effective. If you have experience with working with outside vendors, design, finishing, binding, trimming, and contour cutting this could be the position for you.

Responsibilities


  • Support the creation of printing, assembly, and manufacturing specifications and product prototypes to facilitate planning, purchasing, quality assurance, and production processes
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring outsourced manufacturing activities including quality assurance and corrective action activities, disposition, and implementation
  • Partner with Product Planning and Production Center staff as well as other departments to define, design, document, implement, and monitor production and digital workflow processes
  • Perform various operational and product support tasks and monitor service inquiries to ensure continuity of support to customers
  • Build and maintain a positive working relationship with vendors, Esri customers, planners, and Production team to ensure timely procurement of supplies and materials
  • Work with Production Manager to maintain and improve existing production processes
  • Use enterprise applications- SAP and Workfront to communicate job completion in real time

Requirements


  • 8 years of experience in print industry
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs
  • Capable working in high level production activity with critical timelines supporting large conference events
  • Professional, detail oriented, self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication skills including phone, business e-mail, and video conferencing
  • Aptitude to interface with other employees at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Travel – 10%
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or business

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with SAP Materials Management or similar ERP system
  • Proficient in the use of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite products

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

  

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $77,480.00 - $122,720.00.
