Responsibilities


  • Communicate with key stakeholders to identify product requirements and advocate for their needs throughout the software development lifecycle 
  • Research industry standards and specifications to translate requirements to the software design of industry-specific GIS workflows 
  • Collaborate with product owner, developers, and other team members within an agile software development process 
  • Define and complete robust test workflows, including supporting test automation 
  • Provide best practices, user documentation, demonstrations, and technical assistance for the product

Requirements


  • 1+ years of professional ArcGIS experience or other geospatial technology
  • Demonstrated experience with software testing, requirements gathering, and documenting processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s or higher in GIS, geography, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or ArcGIS Online  
  • Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python 
  • Experience in agile software development and release of commercial software products 
  • Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
