Overview


ArcGIS Dashboards is a web-based application that offers powerful data visualization capabilities and is used across all industries. We are looking for someone with a creative mind, a structured approach to problem solving, and willingness to try new ideas. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is comfortable diving into data to uncover key insights and enjoys conceptualizing innovative ways to tell a story leveraging the findings from data. In your role as product engineer, you will tackle data collection and visualization challenges and will help define the next generation of Esri software.

Responsibilities


  • Work with customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot problems, and design new workflows
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective dashboards for software demonstrations and other purposes
  • Support the team’s developers with testing, feedback, and sample data
  • Document and share best practices, tips, and success stories in various capacities (blogs, social media, online lessons)
  • Create and maintain project plans, process documentation, and regular status of progress
  • Can work remotely

Requirements


  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Demonstrated experience with the following: ArcGIS Online; Data Visualization Techniques; JavaScript; Python; and Data Wrangling Techniques
  • Bachelor’s in GIS, computer science or a related field of study, depending on position level (pre- and post-bachelor’s experience accepted)
