Overview


Join our team and work to design, develop, and implement deployment and testing solutions for the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World and our advanced mapping and content projects. In this role, you’ll work with a team of exceptional geographic content engineers, geospatial analysts, and cartographers who design, build, and release a rich and ever-increasing array of maps, geographic data and services, and other GIS content for our user community. As a member of the Living Atlas team, you will have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our exciting content that will help our users across industries make business and social impact.

Responsibilities


  • Help support certification of system and content releases for online and content product releases including ArcGIS Online basemaps, demographics, elevation, imagery and environment projects, Data Appliance for ArcGIS, and the Living Atlas content in ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Define and develop methods to enhance content product quality and improve QA and release productivity
  • Continually expand scope of automated test coverage and frameworks
  • Perform daily testing analysis, investigation, and identification of content problems
  • Learn existing QA and web deployment technologies and troubleshoot deployment and production issues on live web environments
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
  • Collaborate with programmers and product engineers on content, development, and systems project teams to identify requirements, strategize on solutions, and implement new processes
  • Ensure key content production workflows for content, system QA, and release perform satisfactorily and efficiently
  • Can work remotely

Requirements


  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
  • Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: ArcGIS Software; Geospatial Databases; Selenium and Java
  • Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$96,500-$124,800 USD
