Be a part of advancing the next generation of the ArcGIS Business Analyst extension. Our team is building analytical tools and demographic data to help our users make better decisions using Esri software. We are looking for passionate GIS professionals who can help build, test, and document new capabilities for our on-premises and cloud product offerings.


  • Become an ArcGIS Enterprise Business Analyst extension technical expert and collaborate with software engineers, product engineers, and other stakeholders to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Support the software product life cycle by contributing to UX design, testing, documentation, release, and support
  • Identify and track software issues, build reproducible QA scenarios and communicate test results
  • Craft product demonstrations, give presentations, create videos, blogs, and supporting materials that guide best practices for users
  • Triage and prioritize issues from customers, gather requirements from customers and evaluate new features for future releases


  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Working knowledge of or the ability to learn Windows and Linux operations systems
  • Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Online
  • Understanding of the ArcGIS REST API and location services such as Geo Enrichment
  • Experience debugging web services and client applications with browser developer tools and tools such as Fiddler
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, but also self-driven to make a difference
  • Bachelor’s in geography, GIS, computer science, or related field (master's preferred)

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience writing technical documentation
  • Knowledge of cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services
  • Familiarity with one or more scripting languages, automation tools (Python, Arcade, Model Builder, Geoprocessing, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and testing
