Overview


Be a part of advancing the next generations of the ArcGIS Business Analyst extension. Our team is building analytical tools and demographic data to help our users make better decisions using Esri software. We are looking for passionate GIS professionals who can help build new tools and craft compelling user stories. This is an exciting product development role that focuses on  designing, testing, and documenting our analytical tools, workflows, and data.

Responsibilities


  • Become an ArcGIS Pro Business Analyst extension technical expert with the ability to customize and extend its capabilities across industries
  • Support the software product life cycle by contributing to user requirements, UX design, testing, documentation, release, and support
  • Support key areas of Business Analyst, such as territory design and targeting marketing
  • Identify and track software issues; build reproducible QA scenarios and communicate test results
  • Craft product demonstrations; build sample apps and downloadable models; and create videos, blogs, and supporting materials that guide best practices for users
  • Utilize the ArcGIS platform for sharing and collaboration

Requirements


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency using Python
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Experience with ArcGIS software, ArcGIS Pro, and demographic content
  • Proven ability to work fast-paced team environment, but also self-driven to make a difference
  • Bachelor’s in geography, GIS, computer science, or related field (master's perferred)

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro, ArcGIS Online, and industry analysis tools
  • Familiarity with one or more scripting languages, automation tools (Arcade, Model Builder, Geoprocessing, etc.)
  • Familiarity with US Census-based datasets, variables, apportionment, percents, medians, etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and testing
