Overview


Be a part of building and improving Esri’s line of geocoding products, including the ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service, the on-premise World Geocoder, and ArcGIS StreetMap Premium. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of geocoding specialists to collect and evaluate domestic and international address data for the purpose of improving Esri geocoding around the world. In addition, you will support the geocoding software development team by testing Esri geocoding software and services as well as assisting in other tasks related to improving the Esri geocoding experience.

Responsibilities


  • Assist with data review and evaluation for the Community Maps for Addresses program
  • Search for potential datasets that would help improve the Esri geocoding experience, and then assist in procuring and evaluating these datasets for use in our geocoding solutions
  • Support software testing initiatives, variants review, and creation of new test cases
  • Support the geocoding team with other miscellaneous tasks to improve Esri geocoding experience

Requirements


  • Experience working with various GIS data in ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience geocoding with ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise software, as well as the ArcGIS Online Geocoding Service
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to plan and organize tasks effectively
  • Experience working with Triage and Github
  • Strong GIS troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with software testing and data quality control
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
