Responsibilities


  • Work with software developers to design, build, test, and release high quality software
  • Provide technical assistance, documentation, demonstration, and best practices to our users
  • Communicate with product users to identify product requirements and advocate for their needs throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with industry specialists to translate use case requirements to software design and solution architecture

Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software development, implementation, or solution architecture
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Have a passion for quality, are detail oriented, and have a desire to improve products
  • Experience with product testing, web debugging, and issue isolation
  • Knowledge of data formats including JSON, XML, and delimited text
  • Proven ability to work in a self-led or team environment
  • Solid geospatial technology experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience using ArcGIS GeoEvent Server and/or ArcGIS Velocity, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience with RESTful web APIs, cloud platform services, and IoT technology
  • Experience developing, executing, and interpreting automated, functional, regression, and performance tests
  • Task automation experience using languages such as Python and/or Java
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, Fiddler, JMeter, PyTest
  • Platform experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Kubernetes
  • Understanding of agile software development practices
  • Working knowledge of a source control and issue management system, preferably GitHub
  • Knowledge of user experience design to contribute to the product design (UI/UX)
