In this position, you will define and create products that deliver geospatial analytics and business intelligence through the integration of Esri and Microsoft software. This integration enables customers to inform traditional data workflows with the spatial component so that a new perspective and new information can drive the decision-making process.


  • Provide a strategic understanding of how Esri technology can be delivered with Microsoft apps and services
  • Maintain a plan, roadmap, vision, and strategy
  • Find and build opportunities with Microsoft while strengthening our partnership
  • Manage and participate hands-on in the entire product life cycle from strategic planning and gathering customer requirements to tactical launch activities
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and direct interaction with existing and potential customers
  • Coordinate closely with both Esri and Microsoft development and engineering teams
  • Partner with marketing and sales to define campaigns that increase adoption
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of product position, messaging, and communication
  • Continue to create, evaluate, and evolve business models to increase adoption and usage


  • Intimate experience with Microsoft’s product development or go-to-market processes and methodologies
  • Proven technical competence of Microsoft’s apps and services including Power BI, Teams, Excel, Azure, and more
  • Experience in software product management and product ownership, with strong focus on having built market-driven products based on technical partnerships
  • Strong presentation and software demonstration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills
  • The ability to understand technology, grasp technical concepts quickly, and translate them into valuable product attributes for customers
  • Able to be self-guided, once given high-level goals
  • Ability to travel on occasion to customer sites and conferences
  • Bachelor's in computer science, business, engineering, or other analytical or technical field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

  • Technical expertise with business analytic software, data transformants, and new technologies in the area of data analytics and visualization
  • Experience with geospatial technology and mapping
  • Experience in Pragmatic Marketing Framework
