Be part of advancing the next generations of ArcGIS Business Analyst. Our team is building analytical tools and demographic data to help our users make better decisions using Esri software. We are looking for professionals with a passion for improving software products through QA and automated testing. This is a position where you will constantly find ways to break our code, investigate the cause, develop automated ways to catch problems, and help us keep the development cycle moving toward quality releases.

Responsibilities


  • Create and execute high quality test automation plans and test cases
  • Continuously reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify code changes and bug fixes
  • Utilize the latest innovative test technologies to improve product test strategy
  • Maintain and monitor daily test harness results, investigate issues, and report problems
  • Automate tests for multiple environments, such as desktop, enterprise, web, and data

Requirements


  • Experience with QA processes, test frameworks, writing cases, and automating tests
  • Proficient in writing code in Python, Java, C#, or other high-level languages
  • Strong team skills and the ability to work independently
  • A details person with a passion for finding bugs and verifying fixes
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications


  • Familiarity with the software development process
  • Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle
  • Experience with Jenkins or other automation tools
  • Git and Github processes and techniques
  • Familiarity of GIS
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS
