Responsibilities
- Build modern C++ software components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
- Develop excellent software for use in a desktop application that combines spatial, temporal, and graph analysis capabilities
- Collaborate with other developers and product engineers on designing and crafting professional software
- Create software that is scalable, easy to use, and easy to maintain that is reusable and testable
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building commercial software in C++
- Fluent and passionate about modern C++ (C++11 and higher, STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC)
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, and computer networks concepts
- Familiarity with spatio-temporal data concepts and techniques
- Object oriented design skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse array of developers, product engineers, and other team members
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with Agile software development
- Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field, depending on position level (master’s preferred)
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of graph data stores and graph analysis techniques.
- .NET/C#/WPF Experience
- Knowledge of databases, including SQLite
- Knowledge ArcGIS software and SDKs
