You will actively collaborate with other development teams and help design and implement user-centric functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Build modern C++ software components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
  • Develop excellent software for use in a desktop application that combines spatial, temporal, and graph analysis capabilities
  • Collaborate with other developers and product engineers on designing and crafting professional software
  • Create software that is scalable, easy to use, and easy to maintain that is reusable and testable

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building commercial software in C++
  • Fluent and passionate about modern C++ (C++11 and higher, STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC)
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, and computer networks concepts
  • Familiarity with spatio-temporal data concepts and techniques
  • Object oriented design skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse array of developers, product engineers, and other team members
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Familiarity with Agile software development
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field, depending on position level (master’s preferred)

Recommended Qualifications

  • Knowledge of graph data stores and graph analysis techniques.
  • .NET/C#/WPF Experience
  • Knowledge of databases, including SQLite
  • Knowledge ArcGIS software and SDKs
