Esri is seeking a Power BI Developer who will create and manage business intelligence and analytics solutions which turn data into knowledge. Using Microsoft Power BI and other supporting design tools, you will develop data-driven reporting solutions which measure outcome and business performance.


  • Analyze complex business problems and create data visualizations to provide insight to decision makers
  • Meet with internal partners to understand business needs and document reporting requirements
  • Translate business reporting requirements into technical reporting specifications and develop new data models as needed to support reporting
  • Design, build, and deploy Power BI solutions (for example: datasets, reports and dashboards, visualizations) and Power Apps
  • Assist with enhancement of existing high visibility dashboards and provide technical support and troubleshooting of Power BI reporting and Power App solutions
  • Develop reporting system documentation and training materials


  • Bachelors in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
  • 2 years of experience using Enterprise Business Intelligence applications to create dashboards and deliver ad-hoc reports; or 1 year experience with a Masters in a relevant field
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp business issues and understand business strategy
  • Capable of effectively prioritizing time while simultaneously supporting multiple projects
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience working with SQL, relational databases, and star schema data models a strong plus
  • Experience building Power Apps and working with Power Automate
  • Working knowledge of collaboration and analysis tools including Visio, Lucid charts, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.


A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $66,560.00 - $99,840.00.
