Our proposals and sales support team gathers and communicates relevant information, establishes priorities for a high volume of work, and collaborates with teams companywide so that our sales teams can do what they do best: sell amazing software! We invite you to use your organizational skills and attention to detail to become an integral part of the team. We’re looking for individuals who are customer-oriented and who thrive while solving problems under firm deadlines. You’ll work closely with a team that enables our customers to create responsible and sustainable solutions by leveraging The Science of Where.

Responsibilities


  • Enable our customers. Register Esri as a vendor with current and prospective customers and process renewals to maintain the vendor registration program. Coordinate with cross-divisional teams, such as customer service and accounting, to ensure registration paperwork is complete. 
  • Be an extra set of eyes. Assist with proposals and sales operations projects. Review and organize proposal documents during peak workload seasons.
  • Deliver great service. Collaborate with sales teams to determine proposal priorities. Use forethought to provide timely customer follow up and organize large amounts of information. Update, maintain, and respond to requests for customer reference information.
  • Support your team. Review daily bid subscription services to identify and distribute potential opportunities to sales and professional services.

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment, preferably working with procurement related activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and Esri staff
  • Bachelor’s in business, marketing, communications, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Previous experience coordinating vendor registrations, proposals, and/or customer references
  • Knowledge of or experience using GIS concepts and software
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Salesforce.com
