Overview


You’re invited to join a team of smart, dedicated colleagues who share a common mission: build a world-class platform, enabling customers to subscribe to and activate our products. As part of the product enablement team you will work with analysts, developers, product managers, and other business users to build and support Esri’s subscription management platform. You’ll contribute to new functionality, solve key customer challenges, and streamline existing processes.

Responsibilities


  • Use your coding and problem-solving skills to develop and support web applications in a fast-paced, high-energy agile team environment
  • Develop and review architecture plans
  • Coordinate with others across the organization to build fully integrated systems
  • Participate in code and security reviews
  • Create unit test plans and develop integration tests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve varying levels of technical issues
  • Add value by being current with new trends and frameworks within the Java/Salesforce community

Requirements


  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Java developer
  • Ability to apply functional programming principles
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of full SDLC and Agile development methodologies, application development life cycle, testing, performance tuning, and debugging
  • Strong teamwork and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to understand new technology concepts quickly and apply them through an evolving, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience with Salesforce (Apex), .NET development
  • Knowledge of docker containers, microservices
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services such as Amazon S3, SQS, EC2, and Azure services
  • Proficient in asynchronous and scalable service-oriented architectures
  • User interface design and usability expertise
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
