Overview


Put your negotiating and purchasing skills in high gear! Esri’s procurement team is seeking a dynamic individual who enjoys analysis and negotiation. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing non-direct goods and services.

Responsibilities


  • Manage cross-functional strategic sourcing teams of Buyers and Assistant Buyers
  • Perform total price and cost analysis on vendor quotations and proposals
  • Oversee supplier sourcing, product standardization, and PR/PO processes/management       
  • Procure indirect materials, supplies, services, and equipment as required
  • Maintain the optimum balance of quality, cost, and delivery to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Effectively source and manage vendors, resulting in top quality products and services at optimum pricing
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers

Requirements


  • 5+ years of high level purchasing experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams during strategic sourcing initiatives using project management skills earned through experience and training
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented team player with proven negotiating abilities and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, purchasing, supply chain management, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
