Your role is essential to the procurement and sales process because you will capture a deal’s nuances to meet Esri’s business needs and sales goals. You will exercise your negotiation skills to build relationships, mitigate risk, and protect Esri’s intellectual property. As a self-starter, you will seek to effectively prioritize assignments and issues to drive resolution, growth, and process improvement. You will work with a team of highly skilled contracts negotiators and attorneys to support the customer focused Esri philosophy and promote the adoption of Esri’s ArcGIS, both in the US and around the World.
This position is part of the Domestic Contracts team but may support the International Contracts team or Inbound Contracts team as needed. The Domestic Contracts Team deals with a broad range of sales related agreements with U.S. commercial customers and U.S. government entities. The Senior Contracts Specialist will be assigned a region of the U.S. and will be responsible for all requests that come from those states. This will allow the Senior Contracts Specialist the opportunity to build relationships with customers and account managers. The Senior Contracts Specialist is expected to autonomously handle a high volume of heavily negotiated Esri contract templates and customer templates. The Senior Contracts Specialist will mentor and assist other Contracts team members in drafting and negotiating and will develop an area of expertise to impart subject matter knowledge to the Contracts team. This position may be located at any of the Esri offices identified in this posting or remote in the United States.
You will be joining a team of ten or more experienced professionals who enjoy working together to support Esri’s large customer base and internal customer requests. Technology is always changing, and our customers are finding new ways to utilize geospatial software to improve the world. So, the questions and assignments you get will be varied and challenging.
