Overview


Use your extensive event planning and project management experience to join our full-service events marketing group. You'll be part of a team that collaborates with colleagues throughout the company to design and produce Esri’s marketing and participation at events and conferences globally.

Responsibilities


  • Design and implement strategic events and conferences to reach marketing and sales objectives (lead generation, branding, awareness, education)
  • Manage all aspects of complex Esri-owned conferences
  • Develop and manage execution of event project plan and strategy brief for critical activities and communications, including, but not limited to: food and beverage, audio/visual, internet, security, and electrical requirements
  • Act as a the main point of contact for event facilities and vendors
  • Manage overall event budgets and associated spending
  • Special projects and duties as assigned for events marketing needs – may include executive engagement and customer experience

Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in tradeshows, seminars, events, marketing publications, or a related field with a bachelor's degree; or 3+ year of experience in the aforementioned areas with a master's degree
  • Project management with ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
  • Exceptional verbal, listening, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Desire to thrive in a rapid growth, fast-paced environment; ability to adapt well to change and act with urgency
  • Ability to make quick decisions before, during, and post-event based on unexpected circumstances
  • A self-driven work ethic and model
  • Proficiency with basic software programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Workfront
  • Working knowledge of Events-specific software such as Exhibit Force, Passkey, Ungerboeck, or RainFocus

Recommended Qualifications


  • CMP
  • Master’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $68,640.00 - $96,200.00.
