Senior Partner Manager - Corporate Partnerships

In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, creating, and building relationships with key strategic business partners to drive business for the partner and Esri across business sectors by promoting the adoption of Esri technology and specific sector business strategies. You will act as an account executive for a portfolio of strategic partners to help them take full advantage of their investment in Esri’s technology and market presence, working closely with the core partner team as well as other functional teams throughout Esri to enable partner business.


  • Develop strategic partners. Identify and engage with existing and new strategic growth partners in the Esri Partner Network. In this role, global corporate partnerships will be a core focus area, with other strategic partners assigned as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with partners. Assist, support, and drive business partners in closely aligning their development, marketing, and sales plans with Esri’s strategic goals and objectives. Work with Esri business development and industry marketing leads to develop sales and marketing plans for partners. 
  • Drive opportunities. Actively seek sales and sales development opportunities with assigned partners, including sales authorizations, co-selling strategies, and specific customer opportunities. Help align the needs of Esri sales teams with partners’ offerings and capabilities to drive new or further existing sales goals. Leverage CRM to manage opportunities and document partner participation.
  • Deliver results. Engage assigned partners in crafting and executing go to market plans. Assist business partners in defining/refining/renewing/reviewing Esri-based solutions and offerings and how they fit into the partners’ go to market offerings to drive significant revenue growth for Esri and for the partners.
  • Be a strategic leader. Help drive the Esri Partner Network’s business goals and strategies internally and externally. Support both the Partners’ and Esri’s technical and business goals and be an executive level advocate within Esri for growing partner channel business.


  • 7+ years of work experience in business partner development or management
  • Demonstrated experience managing global technology partner programs in a global, complex environment
  • 5+ years of experience with software and technology, preferably with GIS
  • Executive presence and high degree of professional maturity
  • Ability to engage all stakeholders including executives
  • Outstanding presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with virtual teams and across multiple organizations
  • Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and cross-functional organization
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally up to 50%

Recommended Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • International business experience
