Senior Product Manager - 3D Analyst and Lidar Workflows

As senior product manager, you will be responsible for synthesizing and prioritizing requirements from customers and key industry partners to develop plans for how Esri can deliver products and solutions for 3D in our lidar and point cloud capture, classification, analysis and sharing spaces. You will develop a product strategy, vision, maintain product plans and requirements covering a growing portfolio of offerings and experiences that meet customer needs for both Esri’s lidar and point cloud workflows. You will interact with cross functional teams and corporate leadership to connect them with customer needs. This role is an integral part of our efforts to engage customers, solve problems, and influence industry groups and strategic partners to better integrate geospatial data and technology into the tools and workflows that shape the world around us.

Responsibilities

• Clarify, prioritize, and evangelize the roadmap for 3D Analyst portfolio of capabilities required to meet key market and customer segment adoption milestones
• Oversee the process of engaging with strategic customers and partners to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and understand business workflows, specifically focusing on the integration of Esri technology with leading vendor technology workflows and business models
• Coordinate strategic effort with partners in Global Business Development, Industry Solutions, and Professional Services
• Develop deep knowledge of 3D GIS relevant to Esri customer global industries and domains
• Share and communicate information about products to customers and users through blogs, technical papers, and presentations
• Collaborate with product marketing and other teams to develop and maintain go-to-market plans, working with distributors and Esri channel teams to drive execution
• Communicate product plans and messaging to partners and distributors to evangelize Esri’s role in strategic industries
• Analyze potential partner relationships
• Organize cutting-edge R&D efforts around new 3D technologies to help development teams anticipate customer and user requirements
• Assess, manage, and prioritize product gaps with 3D and remotely sensed data workflows

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D GIS, AEC technology on multiple platforms, reality capture technologies, or other relevant 3D technology experience
• 5+ years of proven experience in the product management, GIS software consulting, software requirement gathering, development, release, and support of software technology in an Agile environment
• 3+ years of experience with 3D GIS product implementation or engineering applications and technology for visualization, architecture, or urban planning
• Experience gathering and refining customer requirements across multiple industries and domains
• Ability to present to customers and to cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners
• Capability to effectively document and verbally communicate market requirements to technical software development staff
• Experience developing productive relationships with customers, partners, colleagues, and management both in person and virtually
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Bachelor’s or higher in GIS, computer science, engineering, or other relevant field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

• Consulting services and/or project management experience associated with 3D GIS, AEC practice, applications, or technologies in real-world contexts
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and design techniques
• Pragmatic Institute certification(s)
