Overview


Are you a results-oriented marketing professional with experience in the AEC, 3D, or BIM technology space? We are looking for an experienced marketer who wants to drive results and utilize their skills and passion by working with product, industry, and sales teams to develop and implement effective marketing plans and programs that increase sales and drive awareness of Esri's AEC and BIM focused GIS software products.

Responsibilities


  • Plan and execute marketing activities for one or more Esri software products including direct marketing, public relations, advertising, social media, and events
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify the pain points, motivations, and needs of target buyer personas
  • Create buyer persona profiles that include demographics, business functions, professional motivations, technical knowledge, and company profiles
  • Serve as a subject matter expert responsible for defining and creating product positioning and appropriate messaging
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to define a roadmap based on market opportunity, customer needs, and key use cases
  • Define, coordinate, and execute on go-to-market strategies for product launches and campaigns that align with corporate strategic initiatives
  • Understand the entire customer journey and assess content gaps for each phase
  • Author and edit content for brochures, web pages, case studies, press releases, technical papers, seminars, advertisements, demos, sales tool kits, and other marketing collateral
  • Conduct presentations and briefings to a wide-ranging audience, including customers, senior leadership teams and directors, and other staff within Esri

Requirements


  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the specific ability to understand and convey technical information in a non-technical manner
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in product marketing, marketing program management, or consulting (5+ years preferred) 
  • Strong project management, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage long-term and work cross-functionally throughout the organization
  • Self-starter, detail- and task-oriented; able to successfully manage multiple priorities and work well in a cross-functional team environment
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding marketing strategy that leads into a cohesive marketing plan
  • Bachelor’s in business, marketing, or related field (master’s strongly preferred)

Recommended Qualifications


  • Analytics driven with a keen sense of delivering products to markets with measurable ROI
  • Interpersonal communication skills to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Familiarity and experience with AEC, 3D, or BIM products
  • Prior marketing experience in the software industry
  • Experience working in architecture, civil engineering, construction, or related 3D/VR/XR space
  • GIS experience
