Overview


Are you a self-motivated project manager with experience running multiple simultaneous projects? In this role, you'll work with stakeholders on a wide range of eCommerce projects to ensure deliverables fall within applicable scope and timeline. This is a great opportunity to utilize your knowledge of project management methodologies and team building skills to drive marketing initiatives from requirements definition to launch.

Responsibilities


  • Drive the completion of web projects within the Marketing Division by managing project plans, project scope, and resource allocation
  • Manage project kickoff meetings, requirement gathering meetings, and regular status meetings using the agile/scrum process
  • Guide project teams on mitigating risks and propose backup plans for areas of high-risk
  • Form strong working relationships within marketing teams and across the organization to launch projects on scope and schedule
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Esri and its distributors to ensure success of the project
  • Maintain a project backlog, including prioritization and timeframe estimation, and communicate these matters to the appropriate individuals and stakeholders
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details
  • Communicate status and potential project risks to project stakeholder(s)
  • Create process maps and standard documentation for global operating models and procedures
  • Participate in strategic alignment with product management, development, and other marketing teams to establish go-to market strategies.
  • Manage campaigns, especially for new and upcoming digital-first products
  • Proactively find opportunities for process improvements throughout all phases of initiatives

Requirements


  • 5+ years of related work experience in project management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate efficiently, set priorities and expectations, Influence, negotiate, and problem solve
  • Experience with a variety of software project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Scrum
  • Superior attention to detail and results oriented; demonstrated track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments
  • Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational boundaries including senior executives
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements
  • Ability to effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and to work within strict deadlines
  • A self-starter with a sense of urgency, proven results orientation, and an affinity for consistently producing high-quality work
  • Bachelor’s degree

Recommended Qualifications


  • Experience in eCommerce
  • Experience in Agile methodology tools for tracking user stories, sprints, velocity, and burndown
  • Solid understanding of business analysis
  • Multi-channel marketing experience
  • Proficient in data analysis (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Experience in software or high-tech industry
