Do you have experience creating, implementing, and managing successful social media and employee advocacy programs? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic strategic thinker to join our team of ambitious social media professionals. You will be charged with staying up to date with the constantly-evolving landscape of social media, working closely with stakeholders to create innovative and effective campaigns, and keeping our brand persona on the crest of industry trends.   • Expand reach and brand awareness of Esri on all major social networks
  • Manage Esri corporate employee advocacy program by defining and measuring success with data, developing communication plans and user resources, curating content daily, managing vendor relationship, and training new users
  • Drive traffic to by developing content that resonates with the GIS community
  • Give Esri customers an amazing moderation experience by quickly engaging with their questions and comments on social media
  • Generate new prospects for integrated marketing by collaborating with campaign stakeholders to create innovative social campaigns
  • Grow engagement and followers across platforms through data-driven experimentation using available technologies (Hootsuite, Adobe Analytics, Pardot, native reporting)
  • Help manager develop team strategy by identifying social media’s role in Esri marketing, defining success with specific KPIs, measuring success with Adobe Analytics, and creating innovative tactics
  • Monitor competitors’ social media activity and share recommendations with the social and PR teams weekly


  • 3+ years of experience managing brand identities on social media
  • Professional and personal experience working with all major social platforms
  • Strong knowledge and application of organic social strategy including content strategy, analytics and reporting, and channel optimization
  • Excellent writer with proven social media storytelling ability for a specific brand voice
  • Strong visual intelligence and design experience
  • Experience managing an internal corporate program, working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills and training/onboarding experience
  • Top-notch project management skills and attention to detail
  • A team player, able to help however and whenever needed
  • Bachelor's in communications, digital media, marketing, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing processes and campaign measurement tools such as Pardot, Salesforce, and Adobe Analytics
  • Understanding of GIS technology and the GIS community
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience with live event coverage including photographing, recording, and interviewing attendees and/or speakers
