Come join our talented team that is working on our flagship product - ArcGIS Pro. This team is responsible for building cutting edge, highly scalable and reliable distributed software that allows our users share 2D/ 3D geographic information and analysis to web. This is entry-level to mid-level position where you will start as individual contributor using C++ working closely with other desktop and services teams and grow to design and develop functionality in challenging areas like internet communications, authentication, and credentials management.

Responsibilities


  • This is an entry-level to mid-level position where you will start as individual contributor using C++
  • Research and stay up to date with internet security protocols
  • Development projects for running ArcGIS Pro in cloud deployments and work with cloud stores
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and address issues
  • Identify and address scalability & efficiency issues for large data transfers

Requirements


  • Fluent in C++ programming
  • Knowledgeable in client/ server architecture and web technologies
  • Background in Computer Networks, Internet Protocols, Computer and Network Security
  • Exposure libraries like Libcurl, boost http/ asio/ beast is a plus
  • Good communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken English

Recommended Qualifications


  • Familiarity with REST/ SOAP service architectures
  • Familiarity with databases
  • Familiarity with Esri software, GIS/ other web mapping technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud/ web technologies like AWS, Azure, Spark, Kubernetes
