Come join a new team of highly talented individuals as an SDET focused on graph database engineering. This team is building a new capability across the ArcGIS platform, which includes ArcGIS Pro, Web, and ArcGIS Enterprise products. Our goal with this exciting effort is to allow our customers to perform new types of analysis on their data, geospatial or not, with the combined power of ArcGIS and graph database engines. This challenging opportunity allows you to leverage your skills to design and test new and exciting software product capabilities. You will work with a diverse group of talented engineers and developers to implement creative solutions to complex graph database, network, and link analysis problems, as well as rigorously test these new capabilities. You will also learn best practices from individuals that have decades of combined experience building ArcGIS, a premiere GIS platform.


  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks used by software engineers and product engineers using C# and/or Java as a primary programming language
  • Design and author test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing based on user requirements
  • Work with top software engineers in the ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise teams to envision, design, build, test, release, and support desktop and enterprise products
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product engineers, and other stakeholders to determine product quality and release readiness


  • 1+ years of software testing experience
  • 1+ years of experience using an application development language such as C++, C#, or Java
  • A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, engineering, GIS, data science, mathematics, or related field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ArcGIS platform technologies
  • Experience with graph and relational databases
  • Experience with network or link analysis workflows
  • 1+ years of experience using web technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript
  • 1+ years of experience with software testing tools such as Appium, CodedUI, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, or related tools
