In this role, you will leverage your business management skills to negotiate third-party licensing deals for Esri's extensive portfolio of 100+ products and services. You will collaborate with multiple Esri divisions to understand business requirements and address business-centric challenges while ensuring a balance between company goals, innovation, and economic potential. Responsibilities


  • Insightful cross-departmental communication and collaboration with senior level leaders in various Esri divisions to solidify business strategies, including cost benefit analysis, risk assessments, and identifying opportunities for results
  • Provide thought leadership and meaningful business recommendations to drive business growth and success by highlighting strategy, risks, successes, and concessions
  • Manage large portfolio of concurrent business activities
  • Review third-party proposals, identify risks, and unfavorable terms
  • Drive and coordinate complex cross-divisional projects impacting core business processes
  • Improve data accuracy and promote understanding within the organization
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a champion of change management and play a key role in adopting new business practices
  • Support cross-divisional knowledge sharing for professional development of business analytics

Requirements


  • 5+ years of working experience in software, content, IP licensing (outbound or inbound) and business management
  • Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication competences
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to build consensus with multiple stakeholders and various objects
  • Ability to use independent judgment and creativity to problem solve
  • Exemplary fiduciary and business acumen and a willingness to address complex negotiations with stellar results and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information science, GIS, or related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$68,640-$145,600 USD
