Overview


In this position, you will work closely with clients in helping to define geospatial-centric solutions and implementation of those solutions. You will solve complex geospatial problems by evaluating and translating the customer's business goals, objectives and strategies. 

 

The contributions you support within our Imagery Practice across many industries, including governments (federal, state, regional, and local communities), NGO groups, environmental engineering, utilities, and commercial.

 

The team you will work with are collaborative and forward leaning. They are problem solvers, listeners, facilitators, guides, and trusted advisors to thousands of ArcGIS users making a difference. Responsibilities


  • Help clients translate real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art solutions
  • Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions for customer requirements and work with customers to prepare implementations, change management, and migration activities
  • Manage projects and support customers throughout the entire project life-cycle, including requirements, analysis, design, build and implementation
  • Lead the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk management
  • Establish, develop, and expand relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
  • Work with Esri’s marketing and sales teams to develop new business
  • Lead innovative proposals and win work that showcases forward-leaning solutions
  • Mitigate challenges through proper escalation to achieve project and program completion
  • Collaborate with Esri’s practice managers and marketing and sales teams to support business development for technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers
  • Support the development of others though our network of organizational teams and professional communities

Requirements


  • 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
  • Professional experience supporting the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise geospatial technology (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or ArcGIS Platform), including Remote Sensing and Imagery technology
  • Demonstrated ability to translate a customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into solutions
  • Ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets and schedules
  • Knowledge of the use of imagery and remotely-sensed data in GIS
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, remote sensing, image processing, computer science, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, and more
  • Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology
  • Experience with imagery workflows
  • Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, remote sensing, image processing, computer science, or a related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $93,600.00 - $187,200.00.
