Responsibilities


 

  • Be a thought leader. Help foster a sense of community among industry and public sector leaders. Advise customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions. Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies. 
  • Understand our customers and know their business. Be familiar with the mission and operations of our customers' industries, including knowledge of common goals and initiatives, procurement cycles, and business processes. Advise customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions. 
  • Enable our customers to be successful. Work closely with customers to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS enterprise. Provide configuration guidance and best practices to customers and understand how Esri’s technology enables the customer’s stated vision. Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri’s technology enterprise. 
  • Develop and grow business. Collaborate with Esri’s practice managers and marketing and sales teams to support business development for technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers. Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in Esri's enterprise platform and services by creating outstanding proposals and winning work with strategic customers. Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of technical and non-technical staff in a diverse range of customer organizations.

Requirements


  • 7+ years of experience supporting the design, implementation and administration of enterprise geospatial technology (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Platform)
  • Professional expereince leveraging Esri`s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis & data science, 3D visualization & analytics, data management and developer API`s
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers 
  • Demonstrable ability to evaluate and translate a customer’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical plans and solutions 
  • Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, team-oriented, and creative 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills 
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn--you must thrive in a dynamic cross-functional team environment 
  • Applicants selected will be subjected to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This could include a Top Secret Clearance (TS), a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance (TS/SCI), a TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Scope (CI) and/or a Full Scope/Lifestyle
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geograpgy, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Master`s Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field
  • Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
  • Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics or similar geospatial technology
  • Understanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts
