Overview


Are you an experienced and hard-working professional with a passion for managing publications? Use your knowledge of the technical documentation process to publish, test, and maintain publications. In this role, you will help writers deliver their content and collaborate with people across Esri to improve publishing processes. You will also contribute to onboarding and writing projects.

Responsibilities


  • Publish documentation from the content management system
  • Plan and coordinate release tasks including publishing help websites, releasing files for translation, and performing pre- and post-deployment testing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Development, and writers on strategies related to improving the publication process
  • Assist with various writing projects including internal user guides

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience with documentation content management systems such as SDL Tridion, Jorsek easyDITA, or XML Documentation for Adobe Experience Manager
  • Writing samples or a portfolio link included in your application
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize projects and work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work within established parameters using own judgment and related work experience in executing responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Energetic mindset with the talent to deliver projects on time, under pressure, and within specifications
  • Bachelor's in GIS, IT, journalism, English, or related field

Recommended Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of WordPress and GitHub
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, DITA, GIS, and ArcGIS
  • Experience writing technical documentation
