Bring your design and user interaction (UI) knowledge to help create, inspire, and influence user-centered design at Esri and beyond. With a passion for designing experiences that connect with our users, you’ll join a team that designs web pages viewed by tens of millions of users from around the globe.

Working in collaboration with the UX/UI Marketing team and a dedicated mentor, you will work on tangible and exploratory projects with members of the team and stakeholders across various aspects of our website. Projects may include working on our foundational design system and component libraries, component development, Products, Industries, Events, and Campaign marketing pages across esri.com.


  • Ensure visual consistency by integrating existing style systems and established brand standards across various digital marketing channels including landing pages, emails, digital ads, and social media for Esri products and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with designers, writers, and stakeholders to produce page layouts, imagery, and graphics within established design systems
  • Prepare, optimize, and deliver web image assets and page layouts for authoring
  • Stay up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies
  • Work on and complete five projects within dedicated timelines


  • Currently enrolled in third or fourth year university courses and/or graduating in the spring semester
  • Working toward a Bachelor's degree in interaction design, graphic design, user experience, interaction design, or a related field.
  • Experience with design software, such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Great communication skills
  • Organized and be able to prioritize large and small projects in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
  • Basic UI design experience, such as conceptual ideation and prototyping
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing an understanding of basic design principles and thinking.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM Sites
  • Knowledge of GIS and designing map-based applications
  • Experience in scrum and agile development environments
