Join our innovative interactive team in our Creative Lab to create and promote on-brand designs for esri.com. You'll be designing sites within established visual systems, working with senior designers to roll out high-profile brand-level web experiences with global exposure, doing day-to-day image and graphic production work, and contributing to the design and documentation of our emerging design system.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver and communicator who is passionate about design and driven to influence their growth and development. An understanding of user-centered design processes, systems thinking, and interaction design principles is crucial to helping our team extend the reach and utilization of Esri's location-based technology.


  • Synthesize creative briefs, wireframes, and internal feedback to design innovative web solutions that meet project objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as UX architects, writers, developers, and stakeholders to develop designs across a portfolio of Esri events, industries, products and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure visual consistency by integrating existing style systems and established brand standards into your design efforts
  • Stay up to date with new web design trends and technologies


  • Exceptional online portfolio showcasing visual design and design thinking for responsive websites
  • Proven ability to solve conceptual and functional problems in collaboration with design peers
  • Strong skills with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to make complex ideas understandable, a passion for your work, and strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, listen effectively, and respect others while offering and receiving constructive feedback
  • Organized and able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in visual design for the web
  • Bachelor’s in graphic design or a related design discipline
