Overview


Join our innovative interactive team in the Creative Lab to create and promote on-brand designs for esri.com. You'll be working closely with a senior UX and UI designers to improve and evolve Esri’s digital commerce experience.
Our ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver and communicator who is passionate about design and driven to influence their growth and development. An understanding of user-centered design processes, systems thinking, and interaction design principles is crucial to helping our team extend the reach and utilization of Esri's location-based technology.

Responsibilities


  • Design new user interfaces for a major eCommerce platform that drives millions of dollars in sales each year
  • Be an instrumental part of our Digital Commerce Team that designs for both internal stakeholders and distributors around the world
  • Balance user-centered design principles with business goals to create exceptional user experiences that directly affect the bottom line
  • Synthesize creative briefs, wireframes, and internal feedback to design innovative web solutions that meet project objectives
  • Improve and contribute to a design system that supports cutting-edge web entities accessed by millions of users
  • Work with a team of expert UX and UI Designers to grow your experience and enhance your skills
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as UX architects, writers, developers, and stakeholders to develop designs across a portfolio of Esri products and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure visual consistency by integrating existing style systems and established brand standards into your design efforts
  • Stay up to date with new web design trends and technologies

Requirements


  • Exceptional online portfolio
  • Strong skills with design software, including but not limited to Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly collaborative agile team, listen effectively, and respect others while offering and receiving constructive feedback
  • Able to self-organize and prioritize large and small projects in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in visual design for the web
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in graphic design, visual communication, or another related design discipline
