Bill Gough has over 20 years of experience in enterprise software business development, sales, marketing, and product management. Bill joined SAP in 2012 and has been responsible for driving new partnerships with new technologies as part of SAP's Global Business Development and Ecosystem organization. Bill works closely at executive levels across SAP product teams to seek synergies with partner solutions to drive revenue for both companies. He managed the strategic partnership with Esri for over three years and enjoyed learning the impact GIS plays in enabling The Intelligent Enterprise.
Prior to joining SAP, Bill worked at BlackBerry where he served as Director, Strategic Alliances and Channel Sales, for BlackBerry's unified communications and collaboration partners including Cisco, Avaya, and Mitel. He also worked in the BlackBerry software product management group where he defined strategy, positioning and sales-enablement requirements for BlackBerry enterprise collaboration software. Prior to joining BlackBerry, Bill held various senior roles at Sun Microsystems, including product management, telecom industry marketing, and OEM business development. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Mathematics/Economics.
