About Wade

For the last 30 years, in his public and private sector jobs, Wade has been tasked with city planning, program management, building GIS capabilities from scratch, helping others implement geospatial solutions, formalizing enterprise GIS, and establishing other enterprise-level systems that deliver meaningful organizational results. From this experience, Wade has studied and refined a process of identifying and documenting the return on investment (ROI) of GIS and other process improvements. Wade has written several articles on GIS ROI, why it’s important, and how to do it via tools he helped create. Wade is a practitioner of the Theory of Constraints and active in refining how Utah state government gets work done with a focus on producing more value for every dollar invested.
